Bob received his Bachelor of Science degree in the area of Exercise Physiology from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, his Associate of Arts degree in Health & Physical Education from Bucks County Community College in Newtown, PA, and is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Exercise & Sport Physiology from West Chester University.

Bob is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and also holds their Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) credential. Bob earned his Level II coaching license from USA Cycling, and is certified as a Sport Performance Coach by USA Weightlifting.

His professional coaching experiences include being on staff as an associate coach for the Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Trexlertown, PA since 2003 working with cyclists from 5 years old to men and women well into their 70’s. Since 2006, Bob serves as Head Coach for the USA Cycling North East Regional Road Cycling Development Camp held each June in Kutztown, PA. Bob was Assistant Coach for the US National Endurance Track Cycling Team at their 2006 Moscow World Cup preparation camp in Los Angeles, California. He currently serves at Team Physiologist for Princeton University Cycling Team and Head Coach for Kutztown University Cycling Team.

Bob has worked as a sport performance coach for the countries’ leading sport performance franchise instructing athletes in the areas of speed, power, agility, and strength. He has also worked as a Physical Therapy Aide and interned as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist for a Cardiac Rehabilitation department in a local hospital. Through these experiences Bob has been able to work with a vast variety of individuals and finds each rewarding in its own way.

Bob has been involved in fitness and endurance sports since the early 1990’s- competing in road, track, mountain, and BMX cycling- earning top state and national titles throughout the last two decades in a variety of disciplines. Bob currently competes in road/ track/ and mountain cycling, Xterra triathlons, trail runs, and enjoys the occasional road run. He has trained with and under numerous professional cyclists, National, Olympic, and World Champion cyclists, runners, and rowers.

Bob is thrilled to be joining the staff at Makefield Chiropractic and Wellness Center!
